Regenerative grazing is a land management approach that moves cattle through pasture sections rather than leaving them in one area. By limiting how long animals graze a single section, plants are protected from repeated grazing and given time to recover. This creates healthier forage and reduces long term stress on the land. The movement between pasture sections is intentional and often frequent, sometimes daily. Cattle graze the upper portion of plants while trampling the rest into the soil surface, where it becomes organic cover. Manure is spread more evenly, helping return nutrients to the soil and support microbial life. After grazing, each pasture section is rested long enough for roots to regrow and soils to rebuild structure. Over time, this process improves water retention, increases plant diversity, and strengthens overall pasture resilience.
